About Jana, Founder of Campus 2 Corporate Coaching
Background and Approach
I've spent almost 15 years in the corporate world: starting in operations and project management, working my way through roles at companies like Zulily and Microsoft, before landing at a fast-growing organization where I moved from Technical Program Manager up to Director of Talent Development. Somewhere in that climb, I figured out what I actually love: helping people find their footing early in their careers, building both their confidence and competence to succeed.

Early in my own career, I didn't have someone in my corner translating the unwritten rules for me, I had to figure most of it out the hard way, one awkward mistake at a time. I built my career on making sure the people coming up behind me didn't have to do the same.

That passion turned into something tangible in 2022, when I designed and launched a 4-month entry-level training program from scratch. By the time I left to build Campus 2 Corporate, about 30% of that company's entire workforce had come through it. Which meant I had interviewed, hired, and mentored about 30% of that company, seeding the pipeline of high performing individuals and future leaders across the organization.

Along the way, I partnered with Amazon Advertising's Education Alliance to co-teach about Amazon Ads in college classrooms at Penn State, University of Illinois, and Ohio State University, reaching 100+ students a semester, long before they ever set foot in an office.

Here's what all of that taught me: the gap between "good student" and "great new hire" usually isn't about talent. It's about knowledge, understanding, and application. As long as you're willing to be coached and make improvements, you can learn how to succeed in the corporate world.Â

That's exactly why I started Campus 2 Corporate Coaching. I'm not here to hand you generic career advice or a template resume. I'm here to help you take everything you already are and know, and present it in a way the corporate world immediately recognizes as ready.

I focus on honest, practical guidance from someone who's been there. I want you to feel like you're talking to a mentor who gets it, not sitting through a lecture.

As far as my official credentials go, I hold a BA in Political Science with a minor in German from Western Washington University, and I'm a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner through UC Davis. I'm a lifelong learner and thoroughly enjoy working with the next generation of professionals.

Let's get you ready.
